2023: Throughout the summer, I collected fecal samples from three lemur species in the Kirindy Mitea National Park: Eulemur rufifrons, Propithecus verreauxi, and Lepilemur ruficaudatus. Alongside these lemurs, I also collected samples from four other mammals, which includes native, introduced, and domestic species. These mammals consist of Cryptoprocta ferox, Potamochoerus larvatus, Canis sp., and Bos taurus indicus, all of which inhabit the park or traverse through the park.
2024: Conducted eDNA sample collections from mammals' drinking water in tree holes and ponds to capture parasites and understand water-borne parasites in their ecology, as well as to comprehend cross-species transmission.
